Porsche 911

Many discussions have been made about the new Porsche 911 which was introduced in 1997. Featuring a water-cooled engine after more than 30 years of air-cooled engines and a completely new shape, after more than 30 years of step by step evolution, the new Porsche 911 has a lot to prove.

Initially only the Carrera model was available, with the Cabriolet and 4wd Carrera 4 models being introduced in 1998. Late 1999, finally saw the introduction of the new Porsche 911 Turbo with a 420hp engine.

Handling and refinement set new levels compared to the previous models but still the classic fans are not satisfied and believe that the magic has been lost. The new Porsche 911 is truly unique bringing the 911 concept into the 21st century while successfully retaining all of the things that have made the 911 such a legend.
